    Group Term Life

  • What is Group Term Life insurance?
  • Group Term Life is a life protection program for employees. This Term Life program gives financial protections for employee’s family if the employee encounters death caused by sickness or accident

  • When will the Sum Assured be paid?
  • The Sum Assured will be paid if the employee encounters death caused by sickness or accident

  • How much the Sum Assured is?
  • 100 % of Sum Assured that has been determined by the Company and approved by Generali  Indonesia will be paid.

    Group Accidental Death and Dismemberment

  • What is Group Accidental Death and Dismemberment?
  • Group Accidental Death and Dismemberment is a protection that :

    • Covers for medical expenses if the employee encounters accident, and
    • Provides compensation if the employee encounters Total Permanent Disability or Partial Permanent Disability by accidental causes
    • Provides compensation to the family a sum assured if the employee dies

  • When will the Sum Assured be paid?
  • The Sum Assured will be paid if the risk happened in 60 days after the accident.

  • How much the Sum Assured is?
    • 100% coverage if death caused by accident
    • 100% of Total Permanent Disability Sum Assured
    • In accordance to the percentage of a list benefit for Partial Permanent Disability
    • Maximum 10% of Sum Assured on medical expenses per accident

    Group Total Permanent Disability

  • What is Group Total Permanent Disability?
  • Group Total Permanent Disability is a protection program for employee if the employee encounters Total Permanent Disability due to accident or sickness that causes:

    • Disability to work 
    • Dysfunction of body part (arms, legs, and eyes) halfly or wholly in 180 days consecutively

  • When will the Sum Assured be paid?
  • The Sum Assured will be paid when the employee encounter a Total Permanent Disability continuously for 6 months.

  • How much the Sum Assured is?
    • 100 % of Sum Assured that has been determined by the Company and approved by Generali  Indonesia will be paid.
    • Maximum Sum Assured equal to the Sum Assured of Group term life.

    Group Hospital and Surgical

  • What is Group Hospital and Surgical?
  • With Hospital and Surgical Insurance, employee will get the reimbursement of hospital treatment if he/she needs a hospital treatment or surgery that caused by illnesses or accidents. The reimbursement is adjusted accordingly to the chosen benefit.

  • How much is reimbursement amount from Hospital and Surgical benefit?
  • The maximum amount is as equal to hospital treatment expenses and does not exceed the maximum benefits listed in the List of Hospital and Surgical Benefit each participant.

  • What is a surgical type A, B, C and D?
  • Type / category of Major surgery, Complex, Intermediate & Minor are  according to the provisions of the policy and will be considered as a reference to determine the category of surgery that will be paid by Generali.

  • If I take medications abroad, will I have to pay in the state’s currency?
  • The claim payment will be paid within the applied currency based on policy. The applied currency is the rate that’s being used during the claim payment based on regulations

  • What should I do if the hospitals’ rooms of my medical plan are not available or fully booked?
  • Exceeded expenses will give impact to the other hospital’s treatment cost and that will be charged to the participant. Thus, it is advisable to choose the hospital’s rightly and accordingly to the health plan.

    Group Out Patient Program

  • What is Out-Patient Insurance?
  • It’s the insurance that gives an outpatient treatment cost as compensation. The compensations are namely:

    1. Doctor’s consultation
    2. Medications
    3. Diagnostic Check-up
    4. Physiotherapy
    5. Vaccination

  • What is Co-Insurance?
  • Co-Insurance is part of the costs borne by participants. The amount is determined at the commencement of cooperation between the two sides.

  • I would like to get a medication but I didn’t bring my participant card, can I still get service from the hospital?
  • The participant still can get the service with reimbursement system then apply a claim to Generali Indonesia

  • I can't use my card, it’s broken, what should I do?
  • Participant can directly call to our Customer Service, the number is written on the back of the card

  • Is acupuncture’s medication being covered?
  • It will be covered if it is being conducted by doctor and based on medical prescription.

  • is circumcision's being covered?
  • It will be covered if it's under medical prescription and it isn't included in policy exception

    Group Maternity Benefit

  • What is Maternity Insurance?
  • Maternity Insurance gives a compensation of treatment cost for child-birthing for female employees or the wives’ employees. The compensations are namely:

    1. Normal Delivery Benefit
    2. Abnormal Delivery Benefit
    3. Pregnancy Complication Benefit
    4. Pregnancy Check-Up

  • When is the benefit of Maternity Insurance be covered?
  • This benefit applies if pregnancy occurs after a period of insurance and circumstances are not included in the exception policy.

  • Will I be getting double benefit if I deliver twin babies?
  • No. Participants who gave birth to twins still will be given in accordance with the listed benefits in the policy.

  • For vacuum, forceps or induction process be taken in the child-birthing, will it be compensated?
  • The participants will receive reimbursements on Normal Childbirth.

  • After the child-birthding and the baby comes out with unhealthy condition, will the baby be covered too?
  • The baby will be covered if the remaining Maternity Insurance benefit still available.

    Provider's Facilities

  • Are all companies that use Health Insurance program will get provider benefit?
  • Every companies that joins PT Asuransi Jiwa Generali Indonesia will get the benefit of provider.

  • Will I be getting additional charge for Provider's facilities?
  • No charges at all.

  • Will I be getting covered for using hospital service's that is not included in the Provider List?
  • The participant will be in reimbursement system and should be applying claim to Generali Indonesia to be processed

  • What if I lost my card during medication?
  • Generali Indonesia will issue a Letter of Assurance Manual after obtaining a written confirmation from the Human Resource Department of the company. After that, the HR Department of the company must send a confirmation to print new cards with the applicable administrative costs.

  • What are the requirements of Policy issuance?
  • Policy issuance requirements are as follow:

    • ID (KTP/SIM/Passport)
    • Illustrations, which were signed by the prospective Policy Holder and prospective insured
    • Power of attorney Debiting Credit Card/ Power of attorney Debit Account, if the payment method is auto debit
    • Copy of Credit Card / Copy of Savings Book
    • Proof of premium payment
    • Other requirements in accordance with the underwriting

  • What if I want to change the data on Policy?
  • If there are changes related to your Policy Data, such as correspondence data, phone numbers, beneficiaries, etc, please fill out the Policy alteration forms.

  • What if the premium payment has exceeded the grace period?
  • We provide a flexible premium payment within 45 days from the due date of premium payment. When it reaches to the end of the grace period and the premium is still not being paid, the Policy will be canceled for the time being, until we receive the submission of Policy revival by fulfilling the Revival form and completed other terms and conditions.

  • What should I do if I lose my Policy Document?
  • You may submit a request for a duplicate policy  :

    • Fulfill the alteration form
    • Attach a missing report letter from the Police that stated the Policy number
    • Duplicate Policy fee

  • How to pay the premium?
  • You can pay the premium via :

    • Auto Debit Credit Card
    • Auto Debit BCA account
    • Virtual Account by ATM BCA
    • Virtual Account by BCA’s counter
    • Transfer from other Bank (Clearance/RTGS)

  • How to pay the premium to Virtual Account via ATM BCA?
  • Here are the following instructions:

    • Select menu ”Other Transactions”.
    • Select menu “Transfer”.
    • Select menu “To BCA Virtual Account”.
    • Enter your Virtual Account number, select “Correct”.
    • Enter the nominal amount to be transferred, select “Correct”.
    • Select “Yes” if you have agreed with the payment confirmation.
    • Make sure all the numbers entered are correct.
    • Save the slip as a proof of payment.

  • How to pay the premium to Virtual Account via BCA’s counter?
  • Here are the following instructions:

    • Write your Virtual Account number on the Customer’s account number.
    • Write “Generali Indonesia”on name of account holder.
    • Write the information ”Premium Payment” on message column.
    • Write the remitter name, address and phone number.
    • Write the remitter information whether as a customer or non customer.
    • Select Cash or Cheque number.
    • Write the nominal amount to be transferred.

  • How to pay the premium to Virtual Account via transfer from other bank (Clearance/RTGS)?
  •   Here are the following instructions:

    • Write the complete beneficiary data :
    • Account  number “888”, Name “Generali Indonesia”, Beneficiary’s Bank “BCA”, Address “KCP Cyber 2”, Residential status, Nationality status.
    • Complete the charge & provision column.
    • Select the source of fund.
    • Write the nominal amount to be transferred.
    • Write your Virtual Account number on message column.

  • When the credit card will be debited?
  •  We will debit your credit card every 5th, 15th and 25th based on the policy due date.

  • When the bank account will be debited?
  • Same as the Auto Debit Credit Card, we will debit the bank account every 5th, 15th and 25th based on the Policy due date
