PT Asuransi Jiwa Generali Indonesia (AJGI) currently has three (3) basic kinds of Unit Linked Funds, namely Generali Equity, Generali Fixed Income, and Generali Money Market. Equity in general represents ownership of a company and is traded in Indonesia Stock Exchange, whereby currently more than 400 companies’ stocks were traded daily. Fixed Income in general represents debt of a company/country in the form of Bonds instrument that pays coupon at a specific period of time, currently there are more than 80 series of government bonds and 85 series of corporate Bonds. Money Market in general represents debt of a company/country in the form of Bonds instrument or any debt instrument with maturity less than one (1) year and considered as the most stable but with substantially lower yield than equity and fixed income.
AJGI Unit Linked funds are equipped with three (3) systemized risk management facilities namely: Auto Trading, Auto Re-Entry, and Auto Balancing. Auto Trading facility helps in controlling and maintaining investment portfolio performance by realizing all of investment target once it is reached. The investment portfolio will then be placed into instrument that will preserve its value. Auto Re-Entry facility helps in automatically reinvesting the funds that has been triggered by Auto Trading back to original investment portfolio composition. This is done through virtual portfolio maintained by the system. Auto Balancing facility also helps in controlling and maintaining investment portfolio by automatically and continuously preserving the original investment composition.
AJGI Unit Linked funds’ investment compositions are segregated based on the funds itself. Generali Equity invest 80%-100% on equity instruments and 0%-20% on money market instrument, Generali Fixed Income invest 80%-100% on fixed income instruments and 0%-20% on money market instruments, finally, Generali Money Market invest 100% on money market instruments. All of the features as mentioned above are offered at competitive fee of maximum 2.2% for Generali Equity, maximum 2.1% for Generali Fixed Income, and maximum 2% for Generali Money Market. As a sweetener, switching is free for the first 6 instance, and cost of insurance is at the minimum, which will be deducted every month automatically as additional convenience.
