Total and Permanent Disability Insurance provides a comprehensive insurance coverage against total and permanent disability due to any cause 24 hours a day, 365 days a year anywhere in the world.

Total Permanent Disability is a condition resulting from a disease or an accident that causes a member:

• To be unable to perform work, or to earn income forever; or

• To lose parts of the body or its total function, with a minimum of two body parts listed below: 

o    Upper limbs at or above the wrist
o    Lower limbs at or above ankle
o    Eye

(The condition or loss of function must have lasted for a minimum of 180 days continuously).

Payment of Benefit:

• 100 percent coverage if the insured member suffered of Total and Permanent Disability, after 180 days of continuous disability
