BeSMART is a traditional insurance product that provides coverage in the form of a sum assured if the insured passes away up to the age of 100. BeSMART offers flexibility by allowing you to choose the premium payment period and includes various types of additional benefits.

Main Benefits of BeSMART Insurance

Death Benefit

100% Sum Assured as the main benefit.

Terminal Illness Benefit

50% of the sum assured, up to a maximum of Rp500,000,000, if the insured is diagnosed with a terminal illness expected to result in death within 12 months from the date of diagnosis.

End of Coverage Benefits

250% Sum Assured Main Benefit if the Insured survives until the end of the coverage period.

Smart Living Bonus

This benefit will be provided on the policy anniversary when the insured reaches ages 81-90.

Additional Benefit of BeSMART Insurance

Booster SA	Additional life protection benefit until the insured reaches age 80.
Waiver of Premium (WOP)	Additional benefit in the form of premium waiver for the main benefit and additional benefits if the insured is diagnosed with one of the covered critical illnesses.
Critical Illness Benefit (CI Benefit)	Additional benefit in the form of 50% Sum Assured of the Main Benefit for protection against critical illnesses if the insured is diagnosed with one of the covered critical illnesses.
Accidental Death Benefit (ADB)	The additional benefit that can be added is protection against the risk of death due to an accident.
Generali HealthCare Solution (GHS)	The additional benefit that can be added is reimbursement for inpatient and outpatient medical expenses.

BeSMART Terms and Conditions

Exclusions

Suicide, whether in a sane or insane state, committed by oneself and/or by others on the orders of an interested party in the Policy, if the action occurs within 1 (one) year from the Date of Issue of the Policy or the date of Policy Change or the Date of Policy Restoration, whichever is latest; or
War, including but not limited to invasion, rebellion, revolution, resistance against government, military seizure of power, participation in riots, strikes, and civil unrest; or
Deliberately committing illegal acts or criminal acts, terrorism, or attempts of criminal acts, whether active or passive, committed by the Policyholder, Insured, or Beneficiary; or
Capital punishment based on a judicial body’s ruling.
